My name is Alexander David Linthicum, and I will be graduating from U.S.F. St. Petersburg, with my B.A. in Mass Communications from within the Department of Journalism and Media Studies, on December 14, 2008. My track of study is Visual Communications, and I apply my work across various multimedia platforms. Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and Indesign, Final Cut Pro, and Flash are just a few of the programs I know and use very well.
In addition to multimedia production I have developed various writing styles and skills. I am able to write for print and online Journalistic outlets. Also am very adept at creative and expository writing styles. I have the ability to use AP and MLA editing styles. Professional writing is another form which I'm familiar with.
For my age I am well traveled. I have been on three different continents, and been exposed to various cultures, cuisines, and people all my life. I am extremely comfortable in social settings and with public speaking, and am well spoken and mannered. I am able to cooperate with a team of individuals, as well as work independently.
I am extremely motivated in my professional and personal life, but am able to keep them separate from one and other. Multimedia production is a way to express my creativity on a constantly evolving platform. I intend on continuing my education, within the Instructional Technology Graduate Program at the USF Tampa campus.
